What does a coaching session look like?
Drawing a map for your future plans
In our appointments we are going to map out what you want for your future. We are going to work out where you are currently at in your high school, university, work or personal journey and put steps in place to help you get to where you want to go.
It’s not therapy or counselling
I’m not going to get you to lie on a couch and spill all your problems. I don’t offer therapy or counselling. Nor is my work grounded in positive affirmations like ‘the secret.’ My work is evidenced based and future focused.
Support, encouragement, and guidance
I will listen, I will ask you questions, I will give you new perspectives, I will share some of the latest research and practical tools in Positive Psychology. I will help you to direct your focus and encourage you to come up with your own solutions and help you make an actionable plan.
